New River Library Blog: July 2010

Come join us for a lively discussion of Empire Falls by Richard Russo on Sat., August 7th at 10:00am.  This Pulitzer prizewinning book is about a small Maine town that is in decline and the quirky characters that live there.

July 31st is the last day to log your books for the Summer Reading Programs.
Remember you have to log 20 books to qualify for the "Read to Me" final party, 6 books to qualify for the final party for the "Make a Splash" program, and 6 books for the "Make Waves" teen party.

Make a work of art out of shells!

You can make a bracelet or necklace with shells and beads. 

Keep it or give it to a friend.
