Join us at New River Library on Feb. 9th at 2:00pm as we explore: why you would want to know how to navigate the Internet, places you can go to learn how to use a computer, and many of the wonderful services and programs that will be at the end of your fingertips once you learn to use a computer to navigate the Internet.

Come joins as at the next First Saturday Book Club on Feb. 6th at 10:00am. We will be discussing "One hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This book was an Oprah's Book Club recommended book.

Thursday, Jan 28th, at 6:30pm - "No Talent" Competition for Teens
There are lots of talent competitions happening all the time. They are so last year. So, our teen advisory board decided to do something different! We will be having a "No Talent" competition for teens. Each contestant will be trying to outdo the others, to see who can give a truly bad performance. It should be quite fun. Come join us for this unique event on Thursday, Jan. 28th at 6:30pm.
Wednesday, Jan 27th, at 2:00pm - Senior's Crime Forum
The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. Senior Victim Advocate Program will be organizing a free Seniors' Crime Forum at the New River Library on Wednesday, Jan. 27th, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Friday, Jan 15th, 10:00am - AARP Driver Safety Program
New River Library will be hosting a 1 day AARP Driver Safety Program on January 15th from 10:00am to 5:00 pm. This class is a refresher course for drivers age 50 and many insurance companies provide a discount to people who complete the class. Thursday, Jan. 21st, at 6:45pm - Historical Fiction Book Club for Kids
Come join us as we discuss the classic children's dog story, "Old Yeller" by Fred Gipson. As always, we will have fun activities after the discussion.
