This month's book was chosen by one of our club members. The book is "The King of the Golden River" by John Ruskin. This fable about brothers on a farm was written in 1889. The town of Ruskin (in Hillsborough County) was named in honor of the author of this book.

Join us on Saturday, April 24th at 3:00pm for a fun program for the whole family. Robert and Stephanie Baybrook, from the "Land of Yo", will be teaching us about the history of the yo-yo, giving a demonstration of yo-yo tricks, and then they will provide a hands-on workshop to teach us some basic yo-yo tricks.

Bull Run, by Paul Fleischman, is our historical fiction book for April. This book is about the first battle of the Civil War and the story is told from the viewpoints of sixteen people from the North and the South. So read the book and join us for a book discussion.
